Red Cross delivers ultimatum to Bush
Release Saddam, charge him or break international law
As a prisoner of war, Saddam Hussein must either be released from custody by June 30 - the end of the occupation - or charged if the US and the new Iraqi government are to conform to international law, the Red Cross said last night.
The Bushies replied "piss off."
Fun fact: Bunnypants had "complete authority over the conduct of war, overriding international treaties such as a global treaty banning torture, the Geneva Conventions and a US federal law against torture." Which sorta puts him in the same league as, well, Saddam Hussein.
